Instead of killing it immediately, return to Diablo 4 Gold town and then re-enter the dungeon. This simple step resets the monster pool that upcoming shrine interactions will reference.
Once you return, defeat the Headrotten Boss and collect any rewards.
Now head directly toward the nearest untouched shrine.
What happens next is where the strategy truly becomes absurd.
Turn One Boss Into Seven Bosses With This Shrine Interaction
Thanks to the Nemesis War Plan node, activating a shrine can spawn copies of recently defeated enemies.
Since you just defeated a Headrotten Boss, the shrine can create anywhere from one to seven additional copies of that same boss.
Each copy drops loot.
Each copy drops rewards.
And most importantly, each copy drops a guaranteed Whisper Cache.
Instead of farming a single boss, you're suddenly farming multiple bosses from D4 materials a single encounter.
